Software •  Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXPress on Macintosh or Windows platforms Page Layout Requirements •  Files must include all Fonts, all lined images at 300 dpi resoultion •  File formats preferred include InDesign (.indd), Illustrator (.ai or .eps), QuarkXPress (.qxd and .qxp), and Acrobat PDF •  Bleeds must be set to 1/8" minimum and 1/4" minimum if die cutting is requires Color Management •  Dot Gain ISO standards of C-14.3%, M-14.3%, Y-14.3%, K-17% required •  Ink Setup must have total area coverage of 320% •  Rich Black must be set at c-60%, M-40%, Y-40%, K-100% •  Color Space must be CMYK or Pantone Matching System File Formats •  PDF, PDF/X-1a, PDF/X-3 •  If using only PDF, setting must be PDF/X-1a: 2001 •  If die-line included, it must overprint and be colored as a spot color •  Please convert RGB to CMYK colorspace •  Vector resolution must be set to 1200 dpi •  Image resolution must be set to 300 dpi •  LZW compression is not accepted Die Line •  All files requiring die-cutting should have a die-line placed in the artwork and it should be created using a vector drawing program like Adobe Illustrator •  Die-line must be approved by the vendor who performs die-cutting Storage Media •  CD, DVD and flash drives are all accepted •  Monarch FTP site is available for uploading files •  3rd party FTP services are also acceptable		We practice use of resources in the most efficient way possible.
